## ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join our team in London. ## KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct thorough compliance monitoring activities to ensure adherence to FCA regulations, AML/CTF legislation, and internal policies and procedures
- Perform risk-based assessments of client onboarding processes, transaction monitoring alerts, and customer due diligence (CDD) documentation to identify potential money laundering or terrorist financing risks
- Analyse large datasets using compliance monitoring tools to identify trends, anomalies, and suspicious activity patterns requiring escalation or further investigation
- Prepare detailed compliance reports, breach logs, and regulatory submissions, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to senior management and regulatory bodies
- Support the ongoing development and enhancement of the AML/KYC framework, including policy reviews, procedure updates, and control effectiveness testing
- Liaise with business units to provide compliance guidance on regulatory requirements, product launches, and process changes, acting as a trusted compliance advisor
- Coordinate and deliver compliance training programmes to staff, ensuring awareness of regulatory obligations and emerging financial crime typologies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory developments, industry best practices, and evolving compliance requirements, implementing necessary changes to ensure continued adherence

## REQUIREMENTS
- **ICA Diploma in Compliance** (International Compliance Association) or equivalent professional qualification
- **CAMS certification** (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or commitment to obtain within 12 months of appointment
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a compliance role within financial services, banking, or a regulated environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of FCA regulatory framework, Money Laundering Regulations 2017, Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR), and UK financial crime legislation
- Proven experience conducting risk assessments, compliance testing, and regulatory reporting within AML/KYC or financial crime prevention functions
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and compliance monitoring systems (e.g., Actimize, FICO, or similar transaction monitoring platforms)

## PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Additional certifications such as ICA Advanced Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering or Certificate in Regulatory Compliance
- Experience working with regulatory technology (RegTech) solutions and automated compliance monitoring tools
- Previous exposure to regulatory examinations, audit processes, or liaison with the FCA or other regulatory authorities
