1. Who we are

Kempian AI is an AI-driven workforce intelligence and management platform operated by Adept AI Inc. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our platform at app.kempian.ai and marketing site at kempian.ai.

2. Data we collect

Account data (name, email, company, role, plan). Workforce data (requisitions, candidate profiles, matching scores, outreach records). Candidate data from public professional registries or uploaded by tenants. Usage data via Plausible Analytics (privacy-first, no cookies, GDPR compliant). Demo request submissions and contact form entries.

3. How we use data

To provide the Kempian platform and AI Confidence features. To match candidates to requisitions using named, documented factor groups. To operate outreach campaigns on behalf of tenants, with human approval at Gate 2 and Gate 3. To respond to demo requests. To improve platform reliability using anonymised usage data only.

4. AI and automated processing

Kempian uses Claude AI (Anthropic Bedrock) to generate candidate match scores. These scores are decision support tools. They do not constitute automated decisions under GDPR Art.22 because every score is subject to mandatory human review before any action is taken. The AI evaluates named professional signals only: skills, certifications, experience, location, compliance status. It does not infer demographic characteristics or protected class attributes.

5. Data storage and isolation

All tenant data is stored in AWS DynamoDB (us-east-1) with full tenant isolation. Every database operation is scoped to the authenticated tenant via JWT. Talent profile files are stored in AWS S3. No cross-tenant data access is architecturally possible. Kempian does not use customer data to train or improve the shared AI model.

6. GDPR data subject rights

If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion (right to erasure); object to or restrict processing; receive your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@kempian.ai.

7. Candidate opt-out

Candidates who receive outreach via Kempian may opt out at any time by replying STOP or clicking the unsubscribe link. Opt-out records are maintained in a dedicated table and enforced before any subsequent outreach step across all tenants.

8. Analytics

This site uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first tool that collects no cookies, no personal data, and no cross-site tracking. No cookie consent banner is required.
